The paper explores how Digital Twins can help make power grids smarter and more efficient. By testing this approach on a real distribution network, THEUS partners UNIROMA and ASM showed its potential to improve real-time monitoring, energy management, and flexibility, paving the way for more resilient and sustainable grids. This work is the pillar for the near-real-time integration of the THEUS solutions in the Terni GRID (Italy).
