by | Apr 22, 2026

On 15-16 April 2026, THEUS partners gathered at the premises of CEDER-CIEMAT in Soria (Spain), for the project’s third General Assembly. Marking the close of the first reporting period, the meeting provided an opportunity to review progress over the past 6 months and ensure alignment across all work packages.

The first day featured presentations by Work Package leaders, who shared the latest developments and outlined upcoming actions and deliverables due by year-end. Participants also toured the CEDER-CIEMAT facilities, including the pilot site equipped with MV and LVDC infrastructure, which will be used for project validation activities. The visit also showcased a hybrid DC-based microgrid developed as part of the TIGON project.

The second day was dedicated to interactive discussions and roundtables, enabling partners to address challenges, foster collaboration, and bridge the technical advancements of Work Packages 3 and 4. With the project now entering a new phase, a key milestone begins with WP5, focusing on the validation of THEUS solutions across the different use cases and test environments. Further details on the operational tools being developed under WP4 will be released in the coming months.
